Dunn, founder and CEO of Snowgoose Veterinary Management Consulting: What we [as practice managers] need to do is we need to be looking at conflict and understand that people have different conflict styles. Some people are naturally competitive, some people naturally like to collaborate, some people avoid [conflict], [and] some people are willing to compromise. So, what managers need to do is they have to understand that conflict is there and conflict is not a bad thing. It's how we as managers handle it.
