The Platte River Power Authority is asking the Western Area Power Administration to extend the deadline for filing an integrated resource plan so PRPA’s board of directors and the public may discuss the authority’s plan in person.
In a press release Wednesday, the authority said its board wants to wait to submit the plan until it has had a chance to reconvene without coronavirus-prompted restrictions on public gatherings.
The authority is asking that the deadline be pushed to December, and the release says it expects WAPA will respond within two weeks.
