The Wichita Falls City Council will have a public hearing Tuesday morning about the 2020-2024 consolidated plan and 2020 annual action plan for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME).
Funding for the CDBG program in the next year is expected to be $1,246,504 and $440,347 will go to the HOME program.
Four nonprofit organization will receive $324,202 from the total CDBG funding.
The public hearing will be during council’s regularly scheduled meeting at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, city council chambers in memorial auditorium, 1300 Seventh Street.
The five-year plan includes a vision for providing affordable housing to Wichita Falls residents, a suitable living environment and economic opportunities for residents with low to moderate income.
The annual action plan outlines specific funding allocations for these programs.
